Chinese New Year or "Tet" as it is known in Vietnam, is the most important traditional holiday of the year. It's the opportunity for all members of the family and close friends to get together, share gifts and toast the new lunar year in. Budweiser identified this gift-giving season as a ripe opportunity to make Bud' the ideal way to celebrate good times.
Result
red leveraged traditional Tet imagery, colors and messaging and blended them together with key elements of Budweiser's brand positioning as the 'King of beers", brand imagery and packaging design. A masculine golden dragon formed the core of the packaging design imagery, complimented by a strong Tet symbol, peach blossom. Indeed, the King never looked so good.
